Welcome to the Spring 2010 edition of our Connell Insurance Newsletter!
This is an exciting year for Connell Insurance as we celebrate our 40th Anniversary of serving the Tri-Lakes area. Since our success has been built upon your trust, our theme for this year of celebration is simply "giving back" to the community.
In that spirit, I'd like to let you know about some upcoming activities that we have planned:
On April 23rd, Connell Insurance will be sponsoring the Springfield Chamber's Spring Summit of the Ozarks Regional Economic Partnership on economic development within our region. Running from 8 AM until 1:15 PM, the Summit will include an explanation of new market tax credits, a discussion on the Missouri Partnership, the Rural Schools initiative, and a legislative update. For more information, visit Spring Summit.
On April 28th, keep your eyes open for Connell employees and Tantone workers cleaning up trash along Business Highway 65 in Hollister. Connell is conducting a Community Cleanup Day in preparation for Hollister's Centennial Celebrations running from April 30th through May 2nd.
On April 30th, Connell Insurance will present another in its continuing series of Connell Seminars. This seminar will focus on Employment Law Updates. For complete details and registration, visit our website.
On May 15th and 16th, Connell Insurance is proud to support The Gridiron Golf Classic at Ledgestone for the Tantone Sheltered Workshop. This is a 5-person scramble with each team paired with a member of either the KC Chiefs or the St. Louis Rams. Plus, you can sponsor a tee box or a green for only $250, and that will include recycling pickups by the Tantone crew at your place of business for a full year. What a deal! For more information click on Gridiron Golf Classic.
Definitely set aside May 20th for a free car wash, as Connell Insurance holds our 40th Anniversary. From 11 in the morning until 3:30 in the afternoon, Connell employees will be washing client cars and hosting a barbecue, as a small way of thanking you for the past 40 years. We'll also be raffling off prizes donated by the various insurance carriers that we represent. For more information, watch for details at www.connellinsurance.com.
June 4th marks the Annual Relay for Life and Connell Insurance is supporting that effort to raise money for the American Cancer Society. We urge everyone to participate in this all-too-important fundraiser. For more information and registration, go to Relay for Life.
