Welcome to our June 2011 newsletter, as we enjoy the warm weather after one of our more severe winters in many a year. Here at Connell, we don't think of ourselves as being in the business of insurance. We are in the business of helping people and businesses to effectively manage and moderate their risks and avoid losses when misfortune strikes. To that end, you'll find articles on workers' compensation, cyber liability, earthquake coverages, bonds, and recent and upcoming seminars.
Our Spring Seminar on April 9 at the Branson Convention Center was a huge success with over 100 attendees to hear current updates on OSHA, Health Reform, and Employment Law. Mark your calendar now for our July 15th gathering on Workers' Compensation at the Branson Convention Center - this is our ever-popular annual update for all issues impacting workers' comp.
Here at Connell Insurance, we believe in being good neighbors. That's why we again got involved with the Gridiron Golf Classic to benefit the Tantone Sheltered Workshop, and we'd like to publicly thank all those who gave generously in support of this valuable non-profit resource within our community. Additionally, Team Connell just participated in the Relay for Life on June 3rd. If you missed it but would still like to donate, it's not too late; contact Becky Cummings at bcummings@connellinsurance.com or call 973-0820. Likewise, the Connell Team will also be participating in Tour de Cure for the American Diabetes Association and you can join our team or donate by contacting Billie Frahm at bfrahm@connellinsurance.com or by calling 973-0825.
Remember that if you have any suggestions or topics that you would like to see in future issues, drop me a line at cconnell@connellinsurance.com.
Sincerely,
Chad Connell

Connell Insurance continues to use technology innovations large and small in order to make life a little easier for our clients. Bond applications went online some months ago, and we've now added claims reporting too.
